I must have a thing for bookshelves this week! : ) I saw The Equilibrium Bookcase, by Malagana Design, on Contemporist. How cool is this thing? It looks like the different compartments are just floating above each other; definitely an eye catching addition to any room.

High Fashion Home Fall Mini-Catalog
12:27 AMFront cover: Dome Chair
The High Fashion Home mini-catalog has been a work in progress since 2007. Now with 2011 quickly approaching, we have just unveiled our first mini-catalog (clocking in at a monstrous 8 pages big). Putting the catalog together was much more difficult than expected, yet a whole lot of fun. We have to thank the amazing team over at Adcetera for helping make all of this possible. And most importantly, we hope you enjoy perusing through 8 pages of home furnishing goodness!

Let's Go To The Country
4:15 AM
I just adore this modern country house (thank you Elle Decor for featuring it). The scenery surrounding it is breathtaking and the house is so wonderful. It belongs to architect Steven Harris and interior designer Lucien Rees Roberts. They decided to set their weekend retreat on 50 acres of land between the Catskills and the Berkshires; so incredible. Enjoy. : )
This is a picture of their driveway. Amazing!!
The croquet lawn. : )
I like the different styles and shapes of furniture.
I love the stairs. Just pop up in the middle of the room.
Fantastic kitchen with a lovely view!
Glass pocket doors open to reveal this dining area.
The terrace is so beautiful. That's an apple tree and creeping thyme was also planted.
A view of the studio.
Another amazing view of the great outdoors from the bedroom. Love!
Ending with my favorite. I LOVE a wonderful outdoor spot and this is so perfect!!
Here is the video from the fashion show two nights ago at High Fashion Home.
This post is dedicated to SarahWithStyle, HFH Blog's former chief writer. She always loved writing about "Fashion Vs. Furniture", due to her fashion degree background. As soon as I saw "Fashion-Inspired Rooms" by CasaSugar, I immediately thought of her. All of the outfits are courtesy of talented designer, Chris Benz.
The punches of green are very vibrant in this setting.
I love everything from the striped carpet to the understated, elegant glass trestle table. I even dig the geometric pattern on the arm chair.
Towering ceilings, retro colors and textiles, mid-century modern chair...pretty groovy.
There seems to be a lot going on in this bathroom, yet the decor is in actuality, quite simple.
Fuchsia is a very strong color right now in home decor. Our best selling Annie Chair is a testament to that trend.

Amazing Manhattan Apartment!
4:05 AM
This very colorful, very wonderful home belongs to actor, Anthony Edwards and his wife, cosmetics queen, Jeanine Lobell. Jeanine Lobell was the mastermind behind Stila cosmetics (she sold the company and is now the Creative Director for Kevyn Aucoin Beauty); and you may remember Anthony Edwards as Goose from Top Gun or Dr.Greene from ER. Their home has lots of eye-popping color and wallpapers yet it also has a relaxed, comfy look to it. I love, love it!
Jeanine collaborated with Rafael de Cardenas to decorate the apartment. The sectional sofa (love!) and cocktail table are by Cardenas. The sleigh chairs are by High Style Deco. The curtains are made from a Starkde Gournay. fabric and the framed wallpaper panel is by
Flowers artwork is by Jean-Francois Debongnie. I adore the chairs and the Designers Guild fabric they are upholstered in. The vases on the table are by Robert Kuo.
I had seen the wallpaper and the rug separately, I don't think I would have put them together but they do work! The table, cabinet and mirror all came from Sweden.
This wall color is amazing!! (sorry, I don't know the exact brand and color) A simple 1960's Brazilian credenza, some well placed pictures and great lamps make the space complete.
I can't tell you how happy this Bright Lime (by Benjamin Moore) kitchen makes me!! The kitchen already has great light, thanks to the windows and this color just kicks it up a notch.
Jeanine and Anthony in the breakfast room with one of their daughters. More Bright Lime paint and fun wallpaper!! The huge table is perfect!
Now, green is my favorite color and I have always loved the idea of a design that starts near the baseboard and stops mid-wall so this is a win, win! (wallpaper is by Sum-Design)
Lots of the pieces in the office came from Visiona in Miami. Some of the artwork on the wall is by Anthony's grandfather, Kem Weber (who also designed the lounge chair).

The bedroom is painted in Grappa by Benjamin Moore. The bed was designed by Cardenas and covered in a Stark fabric.
In last night's Extreme Makeover Home Edition episode, the Johnson family had their world turned upside down as they moved into their new home in Houston, TX. High Fashion Home was asked to contribute a lot of fabrics and furniture items for the show. It was a great that we could participate into such a wonderful production and cause. Go watch the episode online and congratulations to the Johnson family!
Our Particle Chandelier went into one of the daughter's closet. That is definitely a celebrity worthy closet!
High Fashion Home got the quick rolling credit here at the end of the show.
The Palma Desk and Orleans Chair went into one of the bedrooms. Here is hoping that our furniture contributes to some great study sessions!
