I LOVE a perfect chandelier! I sometimes think that everyone should have some size of chandelier in every major room.... Overkill? Perhaps. But, chandeliers make me happy. Beaded chandeliers are nothing new but they are so wonderful! Not glitzy or too fancy, beaded chandeliers are still super eye catching and offer a great statement to any space. Here's some inspiration -

The Manhattan apartment of Christine Mack and her husband, Richard, is so vibrant and stunning!! Christine and Richard worked with architectural firm, Leroy Street Studio and designer, James Aman to create their fabulous home. There isn't one room that didn't leave me in awe. What stands out most to me in their home, are the spectacular chandeliers and light fixtures. I have never seen so many outstanding lighting pieces under the same roof. Every room flows so well into the next but they still have their own personality and vibe. I just love it all!!

Oh, chandeliers. If you want to glam up a space, throw a chandelier in there. If you want a more romantic feel in your bedroom, add a chandelier. If you want to make a statement in a room, do it with a chandelier. Chandeliers add sparkle to any space and, let's be honest, who doesn't want more  in sparkle their room?

I saw this today on Inhabitat. Atlanta Botanical Gardens collaborated with Lighting Science Group and CD + M Lighting and Design Group to create this LED topiary light display. The lights are synchronized with music. It's so beautiful and so different.... I bet we see more of this next year!

I find these hand blown glass chandeliers, by Czech designer Rony Plesl, quite amazing but kinda creepy at the same time. I appreciate the delicate hand blown glass orbs and the exactness of their arrangement creating an very eye-catching chandelier but I also half expect all of them to crack open and hatch some otherworldly creature. They are fascinating for sure!
