I LOVE Michael Bay's Pad!
4:15 AM
Michael Bay brought us Armageddon, Pearl Harbor.... all the Transformer movies. He obviously likes blowing things up and over the top movies. His Miami Beach home, on the other hand, is very clean, open, bright, beautiful and explosion free. I saw these pictures of Mr. Bay's house on Elle Decor. Another house that I love. : )
I love the pendant lights that hang at the stairs.
I love this area. The daybeds, the plants, the waterfall that flows down the sheets of glass near the wall. Yes!
(furniture shown is from Holly Hunt and Charles Jacobsen)
The dining table is right by the windows which means great natural light and wonderful views.
(chairs are from Holly Hunt and the table is from Jalan Jalan Collection)
The bar area looks like some sort of tropical resort heaven. Love, love the hanging lanterns!
(barstools for Holly Hunt)
I love this kitchen so much! I think it was a great idea to not have the walls of the kitchen go all the way to the ceiling. The kitchen looks more open and bright.
And what movie director's house would be complete without a big screening room?
Yes, I love it.
(console table and bench are from Holly Hunt. bed linens are from Frette and hanging lights are by Alison Berger)
(mirror and sink are by Boffi. wall sconce by Alison Berger)
Amazing shower and bathroom area.
(cast-concrete tub by Lynda Murray)
The swimming pool. Looks out on the Intracoastal Waterway. Lovely.
(chaise lounges are from Summit Furniture)
Finally, the reflecting pool.
