I found Houston based, Edie's Lab, on Etsy today! Their Reclaimed Wood Letters caught my eye but those aren't the only neat-o, Made in Houston things in their Etsy shop!! Check 'em out....

I love checking out local artists/designers on Etsy. Today I came across Groovy Gal Designs and I LOVE her artwork! She sells her original paintings and other "groovy gifts" through her shop on Etsy, as well as her own website. Her paintings are so colorful and so fun. It's an added bonus that she is a local artist because I do enjoy supporting our locals whenever possible and I think everyone should have at least one original piece of artwork in their home (or office). Enjoy!

I checked out Etsy today looking for neat earring holders/organizers. Originally I was looking for some sort of tree type earring holder but I came upon these amazing twisty copper things and I fell in love with them. They are such simple, clever designs and are very visually appealing. I liked them so much I even put one on my Amazon wishlist (another wonderful thing, by the way). Tonight I went back to Etsy and looked at these items again and noticed that the designer of these wonderful creations is right here in Houston!!
