One of the Most Beautiful Libraries I Have Ever Seen!!

This is the Liyuan Library (designed by LiXiaodong Atelier) near Beijing, China. This is by far one of the most interesting and beautiful libraries I have ever seen. I love the sticks used for the exterior and all the woods line on the interior.... gorgeous. Put it on your list of must see places.

That's the library on the right.

They wanted the library to complement the landscape so they chose to adorn the exterior with thousands of sticks that they collected from the area.



Not the biggest library ever but so lovely. A quiet space to sit down with a book.

I love this so much!
