On the final day of our weeklong honeymoon, John and I made our way to Lost Maples near Vanderpool, Texas. It was about an hour out of our way, but WORTH IT! We don't get to experience the season changing like those in the Northeast do, but you can see it at Lost Maples. Peak time is late October/early November, so plan accordingly if you want to go.
