L + J Industries in Houston!
1:23 AM
I came across L + J Industries of Houston on Etsy today and I LOVE their creations.... Or should I say re-creations? The company consists of twin sisters, Lynne and Julia Schafer, who take vintage furniture and redo it with a colorful, modern twist. They also make their own things that are Mid-Century inspired. Their pieces are so fun and eye catching! Check 'em out.
Mid-Century Metal Red Arm Chair. Such great fabric!
Vintage Inspired Patchwork Footstool. They created the patchwork design with pieces of their favorite fabrics.
1960's Arm Chair. Love the black and white!
Vintage Thonet Bentwood Chairs. Such a fun pattern! The fabric really transforms the chairs.
Mid-Century Inspired Starburst Bench. Again, the fabric really makes it!

I do love the color pink. It's the most girly of all girly colors and when used well in a space, pink can really brighten things up and add interest to the room. I found some great pictures of rooms where pink is used and looks fabulous. Enjoy! : )
Yes, yes and yes to all of these pink ideas! The pink pillows look fabulous on the brown couch. I love the pink ruffle throw and side table!
I don't think I would have ever thought to paint all the cabinets pink but they look incredible! And then little pink splashes in the other rooms look beautiful.

Yep, a pink desk! Love it, right? Also, a great idea to have the chalkboard wall and calendar behind it!

Every major room needs at least one fabulous chair. A statement chair, a comfy chair or if you can find one that is both of those, YAY! It's just nice to have something other than the couch to sit on and adding a chair to the decor allows you to add some interest and other colors or textures to the room. Here are some of my faves from High Fashion Home.
I love the rich Navy of the Annie Chair.
I'm a sucker for just about anything French-y so naturally I'm attracted to the French Chair.
I love a great leather chair and the Danford Chair looks oh so comfortable!
The Abacus Relax Chair is just beautiful!
For something a little funkier the Bolero Chair is perfect! And it's red!
Perfect for small seating areas, the settee brings a whole new meaning to cute and cozy. That is why we have chosen two stunning loveseats for our new Tug of War battle. Both the Elyse and the Phillip would be categorized in the classic Victorian style, but with different characteristics that separate both. The Phillip Loveseat is beautifully made with intricate details. It's a piece that is not hard to notice and will contribute to the beauty of your home. The Elyse Settee has more subtle details that are done excellently and provide a comforting place to sit. This settee is a vision of elegance that will last you a lifetime. The real question is which one do you prefer, simple comfort or enchanting charm. Head over to our Facebook page and comment on which settee/loveseat you like best. Your comment will automatically enter you to win a $200 gift card to High Fashion Home. Don't miss out, click here to enter.

Courteney Cox's Malibu House!
1:23 AM
This beautiful Malibu home belongs to my favorite "Friend", Courteney Cox. I love the white walls with all the grey furniture and accent pieces; the interior has a very classic but modern look to it.

Love the multiple shades of grey!
The antique-y barstools in the kitchen add a warm touch.
I adore the pendant lamps in the master bath!
This kitchen is in the screening house that is also on the property. The windows on the right open to the outside seating area.
This is such a fun idea! It's part food truck, part sidewalk eatery but all at home. Love it.
