What's New at High Fashion Home?
3:16 AM
Our High Fashion Home team finally finished the latest upload of over 250 new furniture products. The process is a very intense and laborious one. But the hard work has paid off with some eclectic new pieces that offers a little something for everyone's interior design aesthetic: Contemporary, Modern, Traditional, and Vintage European. Check out the What's New section and let us know your favorite new pieces. Below are the ones that caught my eye.
Brae Sofa: Handsome is how I would best describe it. Great traditional frame with gorgeous nailhead details. The down-blend seat cushions ensure that comfort won't be sacrificed for looks.
Mercer Settee: The lush grey velvet looks wonderful. I love the tufts and the unique back.
Miller Sectional: This sofa sectional just looks sharp. It includes spring down seats with all goose down back cushions. The seat is ultra comfortable.
Amelia Bed, Brussels Pearl: The Amelia Bed in Brussels Charcoal was such a hit that we had to bring it in the Pearl. It's very glamorous.
Madison Bed: The crown top with the double row of nailheads just screams royalty.
Lider Office Chair: Great mid-century modern styling. Form and Function.
Lattice Desk: The marble in lay looks very rich. The distressed lacquered finish is outstanding.
Hugo Leather Chair: Distressed, antiqued leather combined with a classic mid-century silhouette...Winner.
Leann Trundle Bed: Makes for the perfect reading lounge/daybed. The slide out twin size bed underneath gives your room the added flexibility for guests.
Opio Dining Table: Industrial chic at it's finest.
Ann Dining Table: Beautiful white wash finish with a large surface area that people have been asking for.
Cassanova Wine Table: This just looks cool. I can see it in a nice loft space where entertainment is paramount.
Remington Stool: The Remington is now available in a zebra print.
Madison Dining Table: This solid wood table is simple in design, yet rich in texture.
Betty Sideboard: I'm a big fan of the hardware.
Beckett Sofa: Glam. Very simple, clean silhouette with beautiful tuft details on the inside arms and back.

Inviting Dining Rooms
12:28 PM
Since Thanksgiving is tomorrow, it's all about gathering friends and family around the dinner table. From the good people at Apartment Therapy, here are some of their suggestions for creating an inviting dining room.
Seating options. Have a variety of chairs and benches so that your guests can pick their preferred seating option.
Table Clothes. It helps create an inviting atmosphere for entertaining guests. Here are the S Chairs at High Fashion Home.
Interest with Scale. The large branch centerpieces create that "wow" factor to impress your loved ones.
Thanksgiving is in a few days and I'm sure you're all getting ready for it. I am helping my grandmother plan and decorate for our family festivities this year and for the past week we have been talking about the table (or tables, since there will be close to 30 of us getting together this year!) So, I've been looking for some inspiration and found some pictures I thought were worth sharing. Thank you Better Homes and Gardens!
This is such a simple idea and wouldn't take long to put together. The flowers look so beautiful in the gourds and you could just have several of these running down the middle of the table.
I love this flower pumpkin. It would take a little time but it looks amazing!
I think the cranberries would make for a more dramatic centerpiece. Gorgeous!
All the colors of Fall. The table looks very festive!
I love this! Green always looks good in the center of the table. And another easy idea. They look good clustered together in the middle of the table but you could also set them alone.

You will notice right away that the width of the webpages is 25% larger. At the bottom of each page includes a mini site map to help with easier navigation.
The product images are now shown much larger on their pages. Amelia Bed, Brussels Pearl.
As you can see from the Sofas page, all section pages now show 28 products initially instead of 12.
I don't remember how I came across Baumraum... probably during one of my extreme googling/browsing sessions. :) I LOVE the idea of a treehouse for us big people! When I was a kid I always wanted a treehouse or playhouse for that matter; who didn't? These things are fantastic! Some of their designs actually have trees running through them and then some other ones are built on stilts and live amongst the trees. Baumraum is a German company and it doesn't look like they've done much work in the U.S. but that could change. These would make great guest houses! How cool.
One of their houses in Germany. It looks so pretty at night.
Same house as above. A view from the inside out. LOVE the curved roof!
The beautiful deck of the same house.
Bachstelze in Austria.
An inside view of the Bachstelze.
Meditation treehouse
Inside the meditation treehouse. All the trees are just amazing. I could definitely relax here. : )

Tonight I checked out Elle Decor and came across an article, by Rob Brinkley, about his trip to Houston. Of course, nothing but wonderful things are said about this fabulous city we live in! Check out the article here. I've also chosen some pictures that were attached to the article. Maybe some places you've been to and maybe some places you will now visit. Enjoy!!

Pekapeka Beach House
4:15 AM
I saw the Pekapeka Beach House today via Contemporist. I really like the simple design (by Parsonson Architects) of the house. Even the inside is pretty low maintenance but stylish and comfortable looking. There are bedrooms on each end of the house and then the kitchen, dining and den area are smack in the middle with windows on each side that allow for fantastic views. Love. : )
A view from the beach side.
I love the openness of the middle section.
Another view of the midsection. Great deck!
The den area. The angled roof is wonderful and the furniture has just enough color so it doesn't overwhelm the small room. The windows let so much light in too, which is great!
I love how the kitchen just blends in with the whole room.
One of the bedrooms. I REALLY enjoy the turquoise color on the walls!
Bunk beds! A great sleeping arrangement if you are limited on rooms but need sleep space.
The bathroom is so simple and has a great view!
Incredible surroundings!!
